Sizes & Terminology

What sizes of window board do you stock?
We stock white bullnose MDF window boards in five widths: 150mm, 200mm, 225mm, 250mm and 300mm. In total, this range covers most standard reveal depths for domestic window and door installations. Call ahead if you need a specific width confirmed before your visit.
Is a window board the same as Duraboard or an MDF cill?
Yes, these terms are generally used interchangeably by installers. Our boards are made from a moisture-resistant MDF core with a white laminate face, and are sometimes referred to as Duraboard or an MDF cill. Whichever term you use, it’s the same product designed for internal window reveals.
What does “bullnose” mean?
Bullnose refers to the rounded front edge profile of the board. This gives a smooth, finished appearance where the window board is visible in the room, rather than a sharp square edge.

Cutting, Ordering & Delivery

What length do window boards come in?
All of our bullnose MDF window boards are supplied in full 5 metre lengths, which you can then cut down on site to suit your individual openings.
Can window boards be cut to length?
Yes, window boards can be cut to length on site using a standard saw. Please note we sell full 5 metre lengths only, unless we happen to have a suitable offcut in stock, so please measure up before your visit. We also stock a range of PVCu and builders saws at our trade counter, in case you need a tool for the job.
Do you offer trade discounts?
Yes, we offer competitive trade pricing for all counter customers. Opening a trade account gives access to even better rates, priority counter service and cash or credit account options. In fact, applications take less than 3 minutes and are approved within one working day.
Is delivery available?
Yes, we can arrange delivery across Lincolnshire and surrounding areas, including Boston, Spalding, Sleaford, Grantham and Skegness. Delivery charges vary based on location and order size, so call our trade counter team on 01775 661 186 to arrange delivery to your site or business.
