Why Choose Wall Panels

The Benefits of Wall Panels

💧

100% Waterproof

uPVC panels are fully waterproof. As a result, they’re ideal for bathrooms, showers, kitchens and utility areas where moisture resistance is essential.

🛠

Quick to Install

Most panels can be fitted directly over existing tiles or surfaces, so no specialist tools are required. Consequently, this cuts renovation time and reduces disruption significantly.

🔄

Low Maintenance

There’s no grouting, no sealing and no repainting. Instead, simply wipe clean with warm soapy water — panels resist mould and mildew far better than traditional tiled walls.

🎨

Design Versatility

In particular, we offer a wide range of finishes, from realistic marble and stone effects to natural wood and tile patterns, suited to modern and traditional interiors alike.

🏠

Domestic & Commercial

Because they suit bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, offices and commercial interiors, they’re equally popular with trade professionals and DIY homeowners alike.

🔴

Multiple Widths

Panels are available in 250mm, 375mm, 500mm and 1m widths, so there’s an option for every space. For example, wider panels reduce joins for a cleaner look, while narrower boards suit more detailed spaces.

How It Works

How to Install Wall Panels

1

Measure & Plan

First, measure your wall area and plan the panel layout based on room size, panel width and the finish you want to achieve.

2

Prepare Surface

Next, make sure walls are clean, dry and free of loose materials. In fact, panels can often be fitted directly over existing tiles or plaster.

3

Fit Panels

Then apply the panels using adhesive or recommended fixings, starting from one corner. As a result, tongue-and-groove profiles lock them together cleanly.

4

Finish with Trims

Finally, complete the job with matching trims around edges, openings and internal corners for a clean, professional and fully sealed finish.

FAQ

Wall Panel FAQs

What types of wall panels are available?

Overall, we stock three types: Core uPVC panels — fully waterproof and suitable for bathrooms, showers and kitchens; Feature wall panels — decorative panels for living rooms, hallways and commercial interiors (dry areas only); and Acoustic panels — engineered to absorb sound and reduce echo in offices, home cinemas and living spaces (dry areas only).

Is every wall panel waterproof?

In fact, only the Core uPVC wall panels are fully waterproof. By contrast, feature wall panels and acoustic panels are designed for dry internal environments only and must not be used in bathrooms, showers or any area exposed to moisture. Therefore, always check the product type before specifying for a wet room application.

Can wall panels be installed over existing tiles?

Generally, yes — uPVC wall panels can be installed directly over existing tiles, provided the tiles are securely fixed, level and free from loose material. As a result, this makes them a popular choice for bathroom renovations where removing old tiles is not practical or cost-effective. That said, a flat, stable substrate is essential for a good long-term result.

What panel widths are available?

To start, panels are available in 250mm, 375mm, 500mm and 1 metre widths. In particular, wider 1m panels provide minimal joins and are ideal for a seamless look in larger spaces. Meanwhile, 500mm and 375mm panels use digitally printed designs with continuous pattern flow. What’s more, 250mm slim boards are easier to handle and ideal for detailed or smaller areas. Either way, speak to our team to confirm which widths are available in your chosen design.

What is the difference between feature and acoustic wall panels?

Feature wall panels are primarily designed for visual impact — adding texture, pattern and style to a room using realistic wood and tile effects. By contrast, acoustic wall panels are engineered to absorb sound and reduce echo, improving the sound quality and comfort of a room. Either way, both are suitable for dry areas only, but serve very different functional purposes.

Are wall panels easy to maintain?

In short, uPVC wall panels require minimal maintenance. What’s more, there are no grout lines to clean or reseal, and panels simply need wiping down with warm soapy water. Indeed, they resist mould and mildew far better than tiled walls, making them an excellent long-term choice for high-moisture environments.

Can trade and DIY customers use these panels?

Certainly, wall panels are suitable for both trade professionals and competent DIY installers. Indeed, they are lightweight, easy to cut with standard tools and designed for straightforward installation. On top of this, our trade counter team can advise on the correct adhesives, fixings and trims for your specific project.
