Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Elite Plastic Solutions Ltd. “You” and “your” refer to the person using our website or engaging our services.

2. Use of Our Website

By accessing our website, you agree to use it lawfully and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the site. You must not:

  • Use the website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.
  • Use the website to transmit unsolicited commercial communications (spam).
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, its servers, or any connected systems.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other malicious or harmful material to the website.
  • Damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website or interfere with any other user’s enjoyment of it.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website at any time without notice.

3. Our Services

Elite Plastic Solutions Ltd provides two types of service:

  • Installation services – supply and installation of windows, doors, roofline products, conservatories, warm roofs, roof lanterns, and glazing at residential or commercial properties.
  • Trade counter sales – supply of uPVC and building products (fascia, soffit, guttering, cladding, wall panels, silicones, tools, and hardware) to trade and retail customers.

These Terms apply to both. Where a term applies specifically to one type of service, this is stated.

4. Quotations and Orders

Quotations: Any quotation we provide is valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are not a binding offer and are subject to survey, stock availability, and confirmation.

Orders: An order is not accepted and no contract is formed until we confirm acceptance of your order in writing (by email or letter). We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

Surveys: For installation projects, a survey will be conducted prior to confirming final specifications and price. If the survey reveals conditions materially different from those described, we may need to revise the quotation.

Deposits: We may require a deposit at the time of order confirmation. Deposits are non-refundable except in accordance with Section 8 (Your Consumer Rights) or where we cancel the contract through no fault of your own.

5. Pricing

All prices are as agreed in your written quotation or as displayed in our trade counter at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to amend prices prior to order acceptance to reflect changes in material costs, supplier pricing, or taxation. We will notify you of any changes before your order is confirmed.

Unless otherwise stated, prices for installation projects are inclusive of labour, materials, and VAT. Trade counter prices are displayed exclusive of VAT where applicable; VAT will be added at the point of sale.

6. Payment

Payment terms will be specified in your quotation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • A deposit may be required at order confirmation (typically 25–50% — as stated on your quotation).
  • The balance is due upon completion of installation or collection/delivery of goods.
  • Trade account customers are subject to the credit terms agreed at account opening.

We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices at 8% above the Bank of England base rate per annum, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where applicable.

7. Installation Services – Specific Terms

Access: You must ensure that we have safe and reasonable access to the property on the agreed installation date(s). Failure to provide access may result in a rescheduling charge.

Preparation: You are responsible for removing any furniture, fixtures, or personal items from the work area prior to our arrival, unless otherwise agreed.

Timescales: Any installation dates given are estimates and may be subject to change due to factors beyond our control (e.g. adverse weather, supply chain delays, or unforeseen site conditions). We will endeavour to give you reasonable notice of any delays.

Completion: Work is considered complete when the installation has been finished to a reasonable standard and signed off. Minor snagging items will be addressed within a reasonable timeframe following notification.

Waste disposal: We will remove and dispose of materials and old fittings removed as part of the installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Your Consumer Rights (Cancellation & Returns)

If you are a consumer (i.e. an individual acting outside a trade, business, or profession), you have the following rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Right to cancel: You have the right to cancel a contract within 14 days of entering into it without giving any reason (the “cooling-off period”). To exercise this right, you must inform us in writing (by email to sales@eliteplasticsolutions.co.uk or by post to our registered address) within 14 days.

Custom or bespoke goods: Please note that the right to cancel does not apply to goods that are made to your specification or clearly personalised (e.g. custom-sized windows or doors). We will confirm in your quotation whether any goods are bespoke.

Services commenced within the cancellation period: If you ask us to begin installation work within the 14-day cancellation period and you subsequently cancel, you will be liable to pay for any work carried out up to the point of cancellation.

Faulty or non-conforming goods: If any goods supplied are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, please contact us as soon as possible. You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Trade customers: These consumer rights do not apply to business-to-business transactions. Returns and cancellations for trade customers are subject to our agreement at the time of the order.

9. Warranties & Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our products and workmanship. Specific warranty terms will be provided with your installation or purchase. As a general guide:

  • Installation workmanship: We provide a guarantee on our installation workmanship. The duration will be specified in your contract documentation.
  • Product warranties: Products supplied carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Details are available on request.
  • Statutory rights: These guarantees are in addition to, and do not affect, your statutory rights.
